I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having your child read to you and/or with you on a regular basis. As you know, our Weekly Reading Logs, along with practicing our personalized Word Study Words (which will begin next week) are the anchors of our homework program this year so please be sure to dedicate an appropriate amount of time to these two tasks.
I found this great graphic to help support just why reading 20 minutes a day is so beneficial for children (and EVERYONE).
